8-Weeks Drawing Course
Understanding how to draw is not about copying objects. It is about learning to see structure, volume, and space.
Drawing course teaches you how to break down complex objects into simple geometric forms and understand how these forms exist in perspective. By learning to analyze what you see, you gain the ability to construct convincing drawings instead of guessing shapes.
In this 8-week structured course, you will gradually build your drawing skills step by step. We begin with the most fundamental forms such as cubes and cylinders and progressively move toward more complex objects from life. Through guided exercises you will learn how to construct forms in perspective, control line quality, and use tonal shading to create a convincing sense of volume.
Each session combines a short theoretical explanation with drawing practice. The course focuses strongly on repetition and observation, helping you build confidence and accuracy through practice.
By the end of the course you will be able to analyze everyday objects, understand their underlying structure, and translate them into clear volumetric drawings.
All necessary materials are provided by the studio.
What You’ll Learn
- Perspective and Construction: Understand how to build simple geometric forms such as cubes in correct perspective.
- Linework and Hatching: Develop controlled line drawing and structured hatching to describe form and volume.
- Drawing Cylindrical Forms: Learn to construct and shade cylinders, an essential skill for drawing many everyday objects.
- Building Complex Objects : Apply geometric construction to real objects such as books, bottles, kettles, and perfume bottles.
- Combining Forms: Understand how different geometric forms interact and connect within one object.
- Drawing from Life: Practice observational drawing with still life objects and natural forms such as vegetables.
