Deepen your drawing skills and confidence through hands-on, instructor-supported still life sessions

Learning to draw isn’t just about knowing theory — it’s about building the habit of seeing, analyzing, and drawing again and again. No matter your current level, drawing is a trainable skill that grows with patience, time, and focused practice.

If you’ve completed our Foundations of Academic Drawing course or have some basic experience with academic drawing, this course will help you take the next step. Whether you’re working through the fundamentals or looking for more advanced challenges, you’ll strengthen your eye and hand with guidance tailored to your level.

Each session is based on real still life setups. Your instructor will be there to guide you, offer feedback, and support you throughout the process.

All necessary materials are provided by the studio.

Recommended Experience:

This course is best suited for students who:

  • Understand how to draw a cube and a cylinder in perspective
  • Have basic experience with tonal shading on simple forms
  • Feel comfortable working with pencil and eraser in a structured still life setup

If these concepts are new to you, we recommend starting with Foundations of Academic Drawing to build a solid base.

The classes will take place on the following dates:

  • 2026-01-09
  • 2026-01-16
  • 2026-01-23
  • 2026-01-30
  • 2026-02-13

If after the first class you feel it's not for you, we'll happily refund you for the remaining sessions. You can find more details in our FAQ.
